Leeds United confirmed the signing of tricky winger Hadi Sacko last week but after the shock departure of Garry Monk, it remains to be seen who will come in to replace him with fresh ideas and players in mind.

Under Garry Monk last season The Whites had an excellent campaign despite missing out on the play-offs after a torrid run of form in their last remaining fixtures.

It will now be down to the new boss, whoever that may be, to come in and work with their new Director of Football Victor Orta to bring in some fresh faces for the new season.

Leeds already have a hugely talented squad with an impressive blend of experience and youth, but there is no doubt that they still need a few new recruits to give them every chance of challenging for promotion once again next season.

So FLW writer Harry Webster takes a look at two players that could potentially follow Hadi Sacko to Leeds United...

Dani Pinillos

Talented youngster Charlie Taylor looks set to depart Elland Road for a move to the Premier League meaning Leeds will need to bring in a new left back this summer.

One man they could look to bring in to replace Taylor could be the former Nottingham Forest defender Dani Pinillos after his release from The City Ground last month.

Pinillos' release shocked a large number of Nottingham Forest fans after becoming a fan favourite thanks to the last minute equaliser he scored against local rivals Derby County in March.

But the Spaniard is more well-known for his solid and industrious attributes in the left back position as well as his ability to join in the attack and whip in crosses with his left foot.

Pinillos would be a solid signing for Leeds this summer.

Jonny Howson

Norwich City midfielder Jonny Howson is set to leave the club and what better way for Leeds to make a statement than to sign their former club captain.

Howson was outstanding during his time at Elland Road and the fan favourite has also done extremely well at Carrow Road but a move way well be on the cards if Leeds want him.

The Whites are already blessed with a number of extremely talented midfielders but with a player like Howson available it would be a tremendous coup.

Howson has proved that he can be one of the best in the Championship and has done well in the Premier League and if Leeds were to sign him then it would undoubtedly be one of the signings of the summer.
