Norwich will be hoping to immediately bounce back to the Premier League after a few yo-yo seasons have seen them up and down constantly.

In the Championship, the Canaries are a very dangerous side who can beat anyone in the league on their day. In the Premiership, it's not the same story. They failed to recruit wisely enough in the summer and paid the price. The January window was more positive but relegation still loomed and Norwich dropped back down to the second tier.

The board have kept faith in promising young manager Alex Neil and have managed to retain the core of their squad. It seems as though Norwich are set for another year of competing at the top end of the Championship for those coveted promotion spots.

However, the standard in the Championship has risen and it will not be an easy task.

Norwich will be hoping that these THREE stars guide them back to the Premier League...

Timm Klose

Timm Klose joined up with the Canaries in January from Wolfsburg for a reported fee of around £9m.

He managed 9 appearances for Norwich but was injured in a clash with Dwight Gayle and ruled out for the rest of the season. As a defensive unit, Norwich were much improved under the 28-year-old who is a tall powerhouse in the air and a leader at the back. His physical attributes equip him well for life in the Championship and his hefty price tag could put off potential suitors.

The 6'4'' Switzerland international will ensure that Norwich are tight at the back as they fight for promotion.

Steven Naismith

Another January addition, Steven Naismith is punching below his weight with Championship football. The former Everton attacker scored a hat-trick for the Toffees against Chelsea last season and is definitely good enough to still be playing top flight football.

But he has committed his future to the Canaries and will undoubtedly be a star in their squad next year if he stays fit. The Scotland international can play on the wing, through the middle or up front and offers skill, goals and a commendable work ethic.

If Naismith fires, Norwich have every chance of going up.

Robbie Brady

If Norwich can fend off interest from Premier League winners Leicester and keep Robbie Brady, then the 24-year-old will be influential in their side next season.

The former Manchester United youth international secured his place in Irish folklore after scoring a late winner against Italy to ensure their progression to the knockout stages. Brady then backed it up with an early penalty against France which had Republic of Ireland dreaming of an upset for a while but they eventually bowed out with a 2-1 loss.

But the Dubliner offers much more than those two goals: he can operate at left back, across the midfield and just behind the striker. This versatility, coupled with his quality on the ball, makes him one of the Championships most talented players.

If Alex Neil can secure Brady's services next year then they have someone with real star quality who can make things happen all over the pitch.
