Sunderland pulled off one of the best comebacks of the season - in any division - when they recovered from three goals down to leave Ashton Gate with a 3-3 draw on Saturday.

However, despite that escape act against Bristol City, they are still three points adrift of Championship safety so they still have plenty of work to do if they are to get out of trouble and play in the second tier next season.

One of the biggest problems facing Coleman is his lack of options with which to change things but the impact of the substitutes on Saturday means that there is now pressure on various members of his starting eleven.

There is no room for passengers in the relegation battle and the former Wales boss has to ensure that he can rely on every player he selects.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at two Black Cats players whose first team place is at risk...

Ejaria has just arrived at the Stadium of Light so it feels a bit harsh to be judging him already. However, he has been brought in to use his energy to support the front two from midfield and he hasn't been able to do so so far.

Aiden McGeady came on during the second half against Bristol City and if he played in the number 10 position, he could link the play and he has proven international class.

That means Ejaria must get up to speed quickly or he could find himself benched in the run-in.

For all their good work going forward in the second half, the fact remains that Sunderland let in three first half goals and Ryan Kent caused them all kinds of trouble throughout the game.

That means questions have to be asked defensively and while Bryan Oviedo didn't cover himself in glory, there aren't a lot of other options at left back.

However, Billy Jones could tuck inside to take Clarke-Salter's centre back spot, with Adam Matthews coming in at right back.

The Chelsea loanee has struggled with the pace of the Championship since his arrival and if his poor performances continue, he will start fretting over his starting place.
