Stoke City will be plying their trade in the Championship for the first time in 10 years after their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Gary Rowett has been handed the task of rebuilding a squad that is capable of challenging for an automatic return the top flight.

Stoke so far are struggling to offload some of their more established Premier League players on big money.

The first thing Rowett will need to do is build a solid unit based on trust, determination and team spirit.

That will mean ousting any player who does not want to be at the club, or any player that wishes to go if an offer to a player that matches the club’s valuation.

Geoff Cameron has had interest from MLS side New England Revolution over in the United States, according to MLSsoccer.com.

Cameron has been at the club since 2012 and signed from Houston Dynamo.

With two years left on his contract and Rowett looking to build a youngster squad, the 33-year-old could find himself back home before the start of the 2018/19 Championship season.

Here are other potential Potters departures that Stoke fans could see before the transfer window closes.

The former Scottish international could be a player Stoke fans see the back of this summer.

Rangers are a club that is an option for Adams after he refused to rule out a move back to Ibrox, according to The Scottish Sun.

Adam used to play for Rangers before moving down south to Blackpool back in 2010.

The 32-year-old made 17 appearances for the Potter’s last season, scoring one goal.

He was sent off in the 2-1 defeat to Everton on March 17, which could have well be his final appearance in a Stoke shirt.

From time to time, players like to engineer their own moves way from clubs.

This way level of conduct is more prevalent after a team’s relegation. Ndiaye is an example of bad advice as he looks to make a swift exit from the Potters.

Having signed for £14million only in January to help the team survive in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old has failed to report back to the club for pre-season training in hopes his absence can speed up an exit from the club.

The Stoke Sentenial has reported a host of clubs are have partial interest in the play as well as interest from abroad.

Ndiaye will surely be a dead cert to leave the club prior to the new season starting.

Once on the books at Barcelona, Roma, AC Milan and Ajax, Bojan has been pitched up in Stoke for the last four years.

The forward spent time on loan in Alaves last season and has previously been out on loan back in 2017 where he signed for Mainz.

The forward has had found it difficult to solidify a consistent position in the Stoke starting XI.

With Peter Crouch set to continue to turn out for Stoke, and the arrival of Benik Afobe, Bojan’s chances for staying at the Championship side look slim.

Wages, too, might be an issue for the Potters in the Championship.

So the 27-year-old could be offloaded if he is deemed surplus to requirements.
