Sheffield Wednesday recorded another good win at the weekend as they beat Ipswich Town 2-1 at Hillsborough in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Owls have been through a tough time in recent weeks but earned a win over Millwall last week and then followed that up with three points on Saturday.

Certainly, the results have underlined that they can be competitive this season despite the lack of new faces and fans will hope the old guard can step up.

Lucas Joao is one man that they'll be eager to see kick on, then, with him hitting a brace against the Tractor Boys.

With that in mind, then, we asked Owls fans whether they felt the striker could keep his form up over the coming weeks and months.

Here was the response...

Joao has shown patches of very good form before, of course, but it's making that happen over a longer stint that has so far eluded him at Hillsborough.

Even so, with an extra year under his belt last season he might now be ready to kick-on and start scoring more for Wednesday.

Certainly, if he can fulfil his potential - or begin to - Wednesday will have a very handy player at their disposal.
