Wolves are planning for life in the Premier League after a memorable campaign for Nuno Espirito Santo and his side that saw them crowned champions last time out.

And, many are expecting the Black Country side to make real statements this summer as they look to build a squad capable of competing in the top-flight.

They've already strengthened their squad with the permanent arrivals of Diogo Jota and Willy Boly and have been linked with moves for several high-profile targets, including the likes of Rui Patricio, Joao Cancelo and £22.5m-rated Andre Silva.

The latter, out-of-favour at AC Milan, seems a priority given the lack of strikers at Wolves.

Silva has worked with Santo at Porto and thrived, so may be open to a Molineux transfer and a chance to impress in the Premier League.

Yet, his arrival in the West Midlands could spell the end for two current players...

The striker only joined a few days ago but is already heavily linked with a move away, with Stoke believed to be closing in on his signature.

That suggests Wolves have deals in the pipeline and Silva could be the man to come in and could be the reason Afobe's second permanent stay at the club looks to be extremely shortlived.

Spanish striker Mir signed for Wolves in January but failed to make a positive impact, falling out of the first-team squad after initially getting a chance.

Whilst he is still young and moved to a new country and league, the fact Wolves are now a Premier League side means he will find game time very hard to come by.

Silva's arrival would push him further down the pecking order and a move therefore seems inevitable.
