Charlton Athletic are involved in a genuine hunt for Championship football this season, much to the credit of manager Lee Bowyer.

The former Leeds United ace has settled into life as a manager nicely, taking the club he served as an apprentice to sixth in the table. They're looking to blend exciting youngsters such as Karlan Grant with steely professionals such as Jason Pearce.

Until recently, the midfield was capped off with the exquisite skills of West Ham's Josh Cullen, but he's picked up an injury, as has experienced stopper Patrick Bauer at the back.

It might be injuries that derail their promotion push, but it certainly won't be through a lack of quality in the side. Bowyer has got focused players all pulling in the same direction which might mean Championship attention in the transfer window.

If the scouts are making their way to the Valley, we think they'll be checking out these two Addicks.

Karlan Grant has got to be high on the shopping list of a number of clubs.

He's got it all, raw pace, power and a keen eye for goal. He's a rough diamond right now, but he's getting better with every game, maturing into a player who could command a seven-figure fee.

Aribo has emerged from the same academy as Grant and will likely attract the same attention.

He's cultured on the ball, mature and able to effect games from the centre of the park.

Whilst the two forwards get the plaudits, Aribo is an unsung hero whose ability won't escape those who know what they're looking for.
