Everton have had their fair share of players depart the club over the years, with some supporters not content with some exits in particular.

Gueye signed a five-year deal with Everton in the summer of 2010 from French side Strasbourg.

He made 39 appearances in total for the Toffees though before leaving in the summer of 2014 before moving to Millwall.

But he's now playing his football for Qarabağ in the Azerbaijani top-flight.

What a bizarre career path this man has had over the years.

Drenthe signed for Everton on loan from Real Madrid in the 2011/12 season, but his time ended badly with the club, with David Moyes omitting him from the FA Cup Semi-Final squad after reporting back late for training.

The Dutchman is now playing his football for Dutch amateur side Kozakken Boys.

Jô spent two seasons on loan with Everton, but never signed permanently for the club.

He made 36 appearances in total for the club, and certainly made a positive impact in his first loan spell with the Toffees.

The forward had spells back in Brazil after his time at Goodison Park, but is now with Nagoya Grampus in the Japanese league.

The 28-year-old progressed through Everton's academy, and went on to make 15 first-team appearances for the club.

He rejected a new deal with Everton in 2012 though, and went on to sign for Oldham Athletic the following season.

But Baxter is now playing for American side Memphis 901 FC, who also have Everton legend Tim Howard on their books.

Vellios signed a four-year deal with Everton in January 2011, and went on to make 24 appearances for the Toffees.

He left in the summer of 2014, before having spells with Greek side Lierse and Nottingham Forest.

But he's now with Greek team Atromitos F.C, where he has played his football since the summer of 2019.
