The 'Rafalution' is on for Newcastle at the moment, and to be frank they're having a wonderful transfer window.

The Magpies have spent an enormous amount of money crafting their squad into, what will be expected to be, a title winning side, not just by Newcastle fans but probably by the rest of the country too.

Matt Ritchie, a man many would've called the Championship player of the year in 2015, is a man well above Championship level and a testament to the quality that Rafa Benitez has been able to attract.

Dwight Gayle will be hoping to provide the goals after his move from Crystal Palace, and why not under the man who overlooked players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres?

Hayden is their latest capture after impressing on loan at Hull City last year, and seems to be a hot prospect for the future.

There's undoubtedly more to come from Newcastle in the Championship in this transfer window, so here's five players who could follow to Hayden to St. James' Park:

Grant Hanley

Rumours have been swirling round since the end of last season concerning Blackburn Rovers' captain, who's most likely destination seems to be either Newcastle or Derby.

He impressed with central defensive partner Shane Duffy despite Blackburn's struggles last season, with incoming boss Owen Coyle believing that £6 million would be sufficient to letting him go.

After Newcastle's Premier League struggles last year, they'll definitley be hoping to bring in defensive quality to sure up their back line, an ever important part of any teams success.

Jordan Ibe

Yes, believe it or not, Jordan Ibe appears to be on the hit list for Rafa Benitez this summer.

The Liverpool prodigy seems to be on his way out this summer, with a £15 million offer from Bournemouth already accepted last week.

However, Ibe appears to be stalling his Bournemouth move to see which other clubs come calling - and Newcastle seems to be one of them.

We know Ibe is a little Championship star after his throughly impressive six months with Derby the season before last, and would be a pretty phenomenal capture for the Magpies - IF it were to go through.

Vegard Forren

If you're an extremely astute football fan you MAY remember Vegard Forren's famous/not famous stint at Southampton, where he made a grand total of zero appearances for the Saints.

He returned to Molde where he's reignited his career and is playing well enough to be picked out by Newcastle, who have already lost centre halves Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor this summer.

Though little is know about Forren, he could probably force his way into the Newcastle side and make a name for himself in England, where his reputation is less than shining.

Ross McCormack

Every club that has tumbled down from the Premier League this year has been linked with a bid for Ross McCormack to help them back upwards, and Newcastle are no different.

You can't say anything else but that McCormack is an absolute star, who, along with Moussa Dembele, starred for Fulham last season despite their struggles in the Championship.

With the quality in Newcastle's side, the 21 goals McCormack scored last year could be vastly increased, and for the 29-year-old to move to any Championship side would be a brilliant capture.

Danny Williams

The powerful Reading midfielder has made it very clear that he wants to play in the Premier League, and although top flight sides are lurking for him, Newcastle could be a strong contender to get him there.

When at his shining best there's little that any second tier side can do to stop the USA international, who's spent three years at Reading and who's contract expires at the end of this year.

The Royals will be leaning towards cashing in on him this summer with his contract ending, as well as his heavy wages imposed by Anton Zingarevich that remain a strangle on the clubs finances, and he could very easily by turning out at St. James' park next year.

Newcastle fans... What do you make of these players? Do you want all of them? Are there any other additions you'd make? Let us know in the comments below!
