Sitting in 18th place in the table, Wolves have struggled to gain any real momentum so far this season.

Walter Zenga's men have won four out of their 14 games so far, and are in need of some wins after struggling in recent times.

After China-based Fosun international took over the club in the summer, Wolves have signed a number of big name players including the likes of Ivan Cavaleiro from Monaco and Helder Costa from Benfica, who certainly have the quality to propel the club up the Championship table.

Although Zenga's men are without a win in five games, there are a few players who are giving everything to turn the club's fortunes around with some stand-out displays in recent.

Here, FootballLeagueWorld writer Harry Webster identifies THREE Wolves players who are playing out their skin...

3) Danny Batth

The strong and physical central defender gives everything week in week out for Wolves.

Despite the club captain being without a clean sheet since the 17th September, Batth adds passion and solidarity to Zenga's side and is easily one of the first names on the team sheet.

His partnership with youngster Kortney Hause is only going to get better, and it is surely only a matter of time before they start to pick up more clean sheets.

2) Dave Edwards

Probably the most experienced player in the Wolves side, Dave Edwards is crucial to the Wolves midfield.

The Wales international has been at the club since 2008 and has been a key player ever since.

His high work rate and energy in the Wolves midfield is better than ever, and he will be vital to Wolves progressing for the rest of the season.

At 30-years-old, Edwards is playing magnificently.

1) Helder Costa

The 22-year-old has really impressed since his arrival from Benfica in the summer, and the success of Wolves this season will largely depend on the performances of Costa.

His skill, pace and power has caused a number of Championship teams many problems already this season, and I am sure he will continue to excel over the course of the campaign.

Costa made 25 appearances for Monaco last season, scoring three goals, and has already scored three goals in 14 appearances for Wolves this season.

Costa is arguably Wolves' best player and has been in superb form this season.
