QPR are one of the few sides in the Championship with nothing really left to play for this season.

Whilst there's plenty of teams going for the play-offs and a number looking over their shoulders at the relegation battle, the R's find themselves with the likes of Leeds and Nottingham Forest with nothing to really go for.

Having said that, though, many of the players at Loftus Road are playing for their future at the club with contracts running down and so it remains to be seen who exactly manages to prove themselves worth a new deal.

Some, you feel, have got a good chance of getting a new offer whilst others perhaps do not and so, with all that in mind, let's take a look at three players who are walking the contract tightrope right now as we head towards the end of the campaign...

James Perch started the season in and around the side but he's gradually seen game-time reduced and he could be on his way in the summer.

The full-back has plenty of experience that other teams would be able to use but with his contract running out, it seems as though QPR don't want to keep him on.

That is, of course, unless he can get on a streak of appearances between now and the end of the campaign.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is another player who will surely be looking for a new club in the summer.

He's barely featured at all for the R's this season and would surely be glad of moving elsewhere to try and get more football.

He'd be a useful player for certain sides in the Football League but Ian Holloway doesn't seem that keen on having a new deal sorted for him.

Nedum Onuoha is in a different boat to the first two with him playing regularly this year but still being out of contract.

You'd have thought he'd be offered a new deal in the summer given how often he has featured but until that happens his future is up in the air.

Of the three, though, he surely has the best chance of getting a new deal - it just remains to be seen if Holloway does exactly that.
