With Norwich City succumbing to relegation from the Premier League at the first attempt last season, manager Alex Neil will be keen to get the club straight back up as soon as possible.

It will not be an easy task, with Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Sheffield Wednesday among those expected to challenge, and Neil will need to make sure his squad on top of their game.

Key to this will be recruitment and who the Scot sees as additions to his team over the summer.

The Norwich squad is already full of talent, so it might be that tweaks are not necessarily vital when it comes to dipping into the transfer market.

Neil will have a good experience behind him from last year in the Premier League, and he may look to the top flight to recruit some new players.

Here are THREE Premier League players Norwich City could look to sign over the summer...

Alex Pritchard

The Canaries love a good attacking midfielder at Carrow Road, with Graham Dorrans and Wes Hoolahan both capable of filling the number 10 role.

Pritchard is a player with masses of ability and looks set to leave White Hart Lane this summer and will not be without admirers, but Norwich should look to snap him up.

He could add some real creative quality to the ranks, and if he was to recapture the form he showed for Brentford a few seasons ago, Neil could have an excellent player on his hands.

Mason Holgate

The young defender was signed by Everton from Barnsley, but has yet to make an impression on the first team at Goodison Park.

However, much is thought about and expected of the 19-year-old versatile defender, and next season might be the time he breaks into first team football.

Norwich could well give him a great platform to build on as his young career progresses, and demonstrating his ability in the Championship might well be the next step in this young mans progress in professional football.

Krystian Bielik

The teenage creative midfielder is one of the hottest talents down at the Emirates and will be hoping to get some first team football under his belt next season.

Bielik looks a real prospect, with excellent skills and ball control adding to his already mature positional sense.

Much like signing someone like Alex Pritchard, Bielik would offer that cutting edge in between midfield and up front for Norwich, and might well prove the difference between a play off place and an automatic spot for Alex Neil's men.
