After emerging from a transfer embargo, Fulham are looking to build a squad capable of returning to the Premier League.

With the likes of Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele linked with high-profile moves away, Slavisa Jokanovic's main priority will probably be to replace the outgoings. The likes of Andy Lonergan, Jamie O'Hara and Dan Burn have all left the club already this summer, and Michael Madl is the only signing so far.

The Cottagers finished in 20th position last season with 50 points, and many think that they won't have to worry about a third relegation scare in three years next season.

They may have one of the leakiest defences in the Championship, but they also have one of the most potent attacks, with only Brentford and three of the top six scoring more than the 66 goals that they managed in the last campaign.

Here, in the opinion of FootballLeagueWorld writer Ryan Evans, is THREE Premier League players that could help them climb back up the Championship table:

Luke Garbutt

The Everton left-back spent last season at Craven Cottage and impressed, scoring once in his 25 appearances for the club. His attacking ability was also noted as an excellent outlet for the club, filling in at left-midfield when required.

With Leighton Baines, Brendan Galloway and even Brian Oviedo ahead of Garbutt in the Everton squad, it looks likely that Garbutt could be shipped out on loan again, and the Championship could be the most likely location.

Defence is definitely an area that Fulham need to improve, and Garbutt definitely has talent, so given another crack in this team he could flourish into a very good player.

James Wilson

Rumour has it that Wilson, who was last seen on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion last season, will be in the Championship once more next season, with Aston Villa and Birmingham the most likely of the second tier contingent.

It's also believed that the three clubs promoted from the Championship last season want him, although that could be put down to Aitor Karanka's friendship with Jose Mourinho and Steve Bruce's links with the club.

However, Fulham boss Jokanovic should be looking at the striker. He scored five in his 27 appearances, although only 12 were starts, and was not utilised to his maximum potential by Chris Hughton thanks to the great form of Tomer Hemed and Anthony Knockaert.

Given a run in the side, he could well replace the goals of McCormack or Dembele, and if one of them stays he would make an excellent alternative/partner for them.

He is a good finisher, although that was not showcased at times during his spell at the Amex, and his passing ability is something that Fulham could use, in addition to that of Tom Cairney.

Ikechi Anya

If the Scottish winger was feeling disappointed with how he was utilised by Quique Sanches Flores last season, he'd be justified. 11 of his 28 appearances came via the substitutes bench, and when he started was often used out of position. He featured eight times as a left-back, only featuring in his favoured right-midfield role five times in the 38 game season.

He's a key member of Gordon Strachan's Scotland side, so will want week-in, week-out football, and he is unlikely to get that at Vicarage Road. He is a pacy winger, that will drive at opponents and put a decent cross in the box.

At 28-years of age, he came through the ranks of Wycombe and Oxford, whilst he has international experience too, playing in Spain in addition to his 21 Scotland caps.
