Sheffield United continued their good form of late as they made it four wins in a row with a solid 1-0 win over Peterborough United yesterday.

Matt Done's early goal was enough to give the Blades all three points, as he converted a wicked ball into the near post from Kieran Freeman to make it four from four for the Blades after what was a poor start to the season.

United and the Posh fought out a decent battle, which could have swung either way as two of the pre-season favourites went head to head Bramall Lane.

Peterborough huffed and puffed to get back into the game, but found the Blades goalkeeper in inspired form, while many of the shots the Posh had were from long range.

It was another boost for the Blades though, who seem to finally be finding their feet under Chris Wilder.

Here, FLW writer Lee Connor looks at THREE players who were key for the Blades in yesterdays victory over Peterborough...

Simon Moore

Voted man of the match for his performance, the goalkeeper for United really proved his worth with a string of fine saves, including a couple of extremely impressive ones late on as Peterborough rallied.

Moore was signed by Chris Wilder for around £500k, and is looking a shrewd investment if his early form is anything to go by.

With Moore in the net and showing confidence, it led to a more settled defence as the Blades kept their first clean sheet of the season and made it four wins in a row.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell

The Wolves loanee has forced his way into the team ahead of summer signing James Wilson, and it is clear to see why he was brought in to the club by Wilder on deadline day.

Ebanks-Landell looks assured and a real presence at the back, and given he is still easing his way back into football following his injury last season, it looks very promising for the Blades that they have managed to sign him.

Blades fans will be hoping to see plenty more of the same from the Wolves man, starting at Scunthorpe away next week.

Matty Done

The former Barnsley and Rochdale man has been moved up front of late following a spell on the wing, and it appears to be paying off for him.

Done bagged the winner yesterday to make it two in his last three, and his constant work rate and effort was a thorn in the side of the Posh all afternoon.

Done is forming a decent partnership with Billy Sharp, and with Caolan Lavery and Leon Clarke also knocking on the door, the attacking options for the Blades are looking very strong indeed.
