Norwich City are reportedly very close to completing the £12 million signing of Fulham's Ross McCormack.

It is a rumour that has gathered pace within the last couple of weeks, after what has most likely been a hectic summer for the 29-year-old.

If Alex Neil were to land the prolific forward, it would be an incredible acquisition for City, McCormack is a phenomenal goalscorer, and a proven one at that.

However, Norwich would need a lot more than Ross McCormack in their efforts to return to the Premier League for the first time of asking, despite the integral role he would play in firing them back up with his goals.

Here, FLW writer George Harbey, identifies THREE players that could be joining McCormack at Carrow Road...

Kortney Hause

Wolves, who have been took over by gargantuan Chinese billionaire Guo Guangchang, are building their own revolution at Molineux, with the impressive Atletico Madrid defender Silvio signing on.

Hause, who has made 42 appearances for Wolves, has been subject to interest from many high profile clubs in the division, and has represented England at under 21 level.

The 6 foot 2 man, who can also play at left back, would be an adequate replacement for Martin Olsson, if the Swede were to depart for West Ham United.

Patrick Bamford

After several bids for Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga were turned down, Alex Neil has expressed his interest in bringing  Bamford back to Carrow Road on a permanent deal, following a loan spell last term.

Fellow relegated teams Newcastle and Aston Villa have also expressed their interest in the 6 foot 1 striker, who has an impressive goalscoring record in the Championship, at the age of 22.

Netting 17 times in 39 appearances for Middlesborough in the 14/15 campaign, Bamford and McCormack would be a formidable partnership up top for the Canaries as they look to romp to promotion once more.

Alex Pritchard

After being told he can find another club by Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, Pritchard is another one linked with a move to Carrow Road, and would no doubt be a tremendous acquisition.

Following impressive loan spells at Swindon Town and more recently Brentford, Pritchard has demonstrated why he is capable of playing at the top level, and the attacking midfielder who can also operate as a winger, would be perfect for Alex Neil's men.

Named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year in 14/15, the 23-year-old has vast Championship experience, and is attracting the eye of Alex Neil as well as Rafa Benitez at Newcastle.
