What a change in fortunes Wolves seem to be having following their big money takeover.

The Midlands side are now believed to be owned by the second richest football owner in the country, only exceeded by Manchester City, who are fast becoming a super club in the European game.

Their transfer activity will probably increase vastly over the coming weeks as they look to push for promotion as soon as possible.

They were linked heavily with a move for Anderson Talisca, a target for Liverpool this summer, but it seems they're closing on a deal to BEAT Jurgen Klopp's side to the signing of the Benfica man.

A £20 million fee could be on the cards for the Brazilian, and there will be more to come, so here are THREE players who could follow Talisca to Wolves this summer.....

Alex Pritchard

The Spurs man is one of a number of Tottenham players who have been told they don't have a future at the club this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino expecting an £8 million fee for his attacker.

The 23-year-old had a fantastic season on loan at Brentford in 2014/15 and has been linked with a number of Championship sides since, after a loan spell at West Brom. He can play on either side or at number 10.

Wolves would do very well to bring in Pritchard who is an excellent player with a bright future in the game, and would be a fine signing.

Ola John

The Dutchman spent last season on loan at Reading in the Championship last year and struggled to adjust to life in England initially, only making a handful of appearances in his first few months.

At the turn of the year he turned on the style and really became a fans favourite amongst the Madejski crowd, putting on some excellent performances.

He's expected to sign on loan, as with Reading (whom he's still linked with), but will undoubtedly have a clause to make it permanent at the end of the spell.

He would be a neat capture for Kenny Jackett.

Patrick Bamford

After a failed season in the Premier League last year with both Crystal Palace and then Norwich City, Bamford will probably come down on loan to the Championship again.

Newcastle, Celtic, Aston Villa and Wolves are all interested in taking him from Chelsea, and with the money with these clubs at the moment, there's little doubt they could reel him in on a permanent basis.

With Benik Afobe leaving for Bournemouth in January, Wolves could use some firepower ahead of the season, and Bamford would certainly be the man to offer them.
