Peterborough United have developed a reputation over recent years for being a bit of a wheeler dealer club, they are very good at plucking players from the lower leagues and moulding them into potential star footballers.

The club is very well run with a terrific set up and are also very good at bringing their own talents through the youth system at the club.

Peterborough currently have plenty of talent on their books, some of which should probably be plying their trade in the Sky Bet Championship.

Marcus Maddison

Peterborough forward Marcus Maddison is certainly someone who could make the step up to England's second tier.

Since signing for the Posh back in 2014, he has excelled in League One, scoring over 24 times for the club in just over 80 appearances.

AdTech Ad Maddison is a versatile player who can be deployed on either flank, as well as in a number 10 role, and also as a striker if necessary.

The 23-year-old appears to have every technical and physical attribute required to make the step up to the second tier, and is just waiting for the right club to take a chance on him.

Jermaine Anderson

Jermaine Anderson is certainly one of the hottest properties in League One after he has consistently impressed for Peterborough United over the past few seasons, and is someone who should definitely now be making that step up to the Championship.

The former Arsenal trainee has already made made over 50 appearances for The Posh, and has been touted by many as possessing both the physical and technical attributes to comfortably make the step up to the 2nd tier.

AdTech Ad Anderson is a very technically gifted midfielder who is very comfortable on the ball, he has a great range of passing but he is also not afraid of a tackle and will stick his foot in when needed.

His potential has been recognised at international level with Anderson being capped by England at both under-18 and under- 20 level.

Chris Forrester

Chris Forrester signed for Peterborough back in 2015 from Irish side St Patrick's Athletic and had a stellar first season in League One last term, he made a total of 35 appearances, netting twice in the process.

The 23- year-old looks to be getting better and better and certainly looks like someone who has the potential to make the step up to England's 2nd tier.

Before signing for The Posh, Forrester spent four terrific years with St Patrick's Athletic for whom he made over 150 appearances, netting a remarkable 42 times.

He was crowned young player of the year twice and also won the goal of the season award twice and is clearly a player of some quality.

The midfielder's potential has been recognised at international level by the Republic of Ireland for whom he has been capped twice at under-21 level, scoring once in the process.
