The Sky Bet Championship is stronger than ever this season and arguably one of the best squads in the division is Norwich City.

City have great squad depth with experienced heads such as Wes Hoolahan playing a key part, and then younger players creating that balance which works so well for Alex Neil’s side.

Two young players who have played a large part in Norwich’s success this season are the promising Murphy twins, Jacob and Josh.

Both of these developed through the academy at Carrow Road, and there are many more who will look up to these lads as an inspiration and try to follow in their footsteps.

Here, FootballLeagueWorld writer Tom Rawcliffe identifies THREE youngsters on the books at Norwich who could be worth a lot of money in a few years…

Carlton Morris

One young prospect on the books at Carrow Road is Carlton Morris.

The striker has only ever featured in 13 minutes of action in the league for Norwich, but he has featured twice for them this season in the EFL Trophy.

Despite a lack of action under Neil, the 20-year-old has accumulated a reasonable amount of professional experience, playing 33 times for Scottish side Hamilton with a return of eight goals, and a combined total of 18 games out on loan at Oxford United and York City.

If Morris continues to improve, then he could find himself in and around the first team in years to come, increasing his value in the process.

James Maddison

Another promising youngster on the books at Carrow Road is attacking midfielder James Maddison.

Maddison was signed by Neil in the January transfer window, but he has spent almost all of his spell out on loan gaining invaluable experience.

He immediately returned to his former club Coventry City on loan after joining Norwich, and consistently impressed the home crowd there.

The 19-year-old is currently in Scotland spending some time with Aberdeen, where he has already helped himself to two goals and three assists in the seven games that he has played for the Dons.

He is continually developing as a player and has already made an impression in both England and Scottish football.

Diallang Jaiyesimi

Derby County v Wolverhampton Wanderers - Sky Bet Football League Championship

Earlier on in the year, Diallang Jaiyesimi arrived at the club from non-league side Dulwich Hamlet after a successful trial in East Anglia.

At just 17 years of age, the striker, who can also operate as a winger, is still very new to the game but is already being introduced to professional football in the EFL Trophy.

The young man has been impressing in the youth division and, if he keeps developing like his early signs suggest, then this lad could be a real talent.
