Leeds United are slowly going about their business in the transfer window, with a few good additions made already as well as the sale of Lewis Cook for a healthy fee.
Under Garry Monk things seem to be off to a positive start, with the owners backing him far and Monk himself seemingly bringing an air positivity to Elland Road.
Leeds last season ended up in a comfortable mid-table finish, but will have been disappointed not to have pushed further up the table and challenge the playoff places.
This, along with other things ultimately cost Steve Evans his job. However, there is an air of optimism around that this season can be a whole lot better.
To achieve success, Garry Monk will need his players to get some consistency to their game, including those who perhaps have a point to prove or didn’t quite do what they should have done last season.
