Despite some improved performances in recent weeks, Hull City will still be looking over their shoulder in the Sky Bet Championship, with relegation a possibility.

Nigel Adkins’ side sit in 18th, seven points clear of Barnsley, who occupy the final place in the relegation zone ahead of the run-in.

Last night, Hull picked up an impressive point at Molineux, holding champions-elect Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 2-2 draw.

The Tigers have some tough fixtures still on the horizon, however, Adkins will be pleased to see over 40 points on the board, with his side able to relax a little heading into the business end of the season.

Hull were only relegated from the Premier League last season, with a huge overhaul in personnel coinciding with that relegation.

Heading into the summer, Adkins will be keen to bring his own players in at the KCOM Stadium.

With that in mind, we take a look at THREE players’ careers hanging by a thread…

Dicko was one striker brought to the KCOM Stadium to help the Tigers adapt back in the Championship, however, the former Wolves man has struggled in the goalscoring department.

The 25-year-old has returned just five goals in his debut season, with Hull’s strikeforce far from prolific in the absence of Abel Hernandez.

Adkins could be tempted to ditch the striker in the summer.

Marshall has been hardly used this season by Hull, with Alan McGregor handed the responsibility of the goalkeeping role at the KCOM.

The goalkeeper is 33 now and will want to be playing regular football next season.

He isn’t guaranteed that with Hull and could be on his way out.

Like Dicko, Campbell was brought in to bolster Hull’s strikeforce last summer.

However, like his teammate, he hasn’t delivered and has a return of just five goals.

Campbell, 30, hasn’t scored yet in 2018 and could be another sacrificed by Adkins.
