Despite some improved performances in recent weeks, Hull City will still be looking over their shoulder in the Sky Bet Championship, with relegation a possibility.
Nigel Adkins’ side sit in 18th, seven points clear of Barnsley, who occupy the final place in the relegation zone ahead of the run-in.
Last night, Hull picked up an impressive point at Molineux, holding champions-elect Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 2-2 draw.
The Tigers have some tough fixtures still on the horizon, however, Adkins will be pleased to see over 40 points on the board, with his side able to relax a little heading into the business end of the season.
Hull were only relegated from the Premier League last season, with a huge overhaul in personnel coinciding with that relegation.
Heading into the summer, Adkins will be keen to bring his own players in at the KCOM Stadium.
