Leeds United are without a top half finish in the Championship for the last 5 seasons now and that is simply not good enough.
The club been run somewhat disastrously in the past few years, since Massimo Cellino took over, making it unbelievably difficult for a manager to stay in his job for longer than 5 minutes.
Still, the new season brings new hope for the Whites’ faithful as former Swansea City manager Garry Monk has succeeded Steve Evans.
Monk has wasted no time ahead of the new season as he has already brought in 6 players in order to strengthen the squad.
One area of the field where the club boat options in is central midfield with players such as Lewis Cook and Toumani Diagouraga. Still, Cook is expected to leave the club to go to Premier League side AFC Bournemouth leaving a space open.
