Birmingham City are surely set for a summer change-around this year as they look to get themselves up the league table next season.

The men from St. Andrew's have had a tough campaign for sure and have been threatened by the drop for some time from the Championship.

Indeed, they looked pretty stuffed under Steve Cotterill in all honesty but it looks as though things have turned around under Garry Monk.

Indeed, they're pulling away from the drop and should they survive an overhaul could yield them a better season next time around.

With that said, then, here are three players whose careers could be hanging by a thread right now...

It's going to be an important couple of month's in the full-back's young career.

He's the kind of player that needs to be playing more than he is to really reach his potential and that will be on his mind at the age of 22.

Garry Monk might still give him a chance to feature but there is every chance that he'll be willing to let him go in the summer if an offer comes in.

Lowe is a decent midfielder that can break up play but it has simply not worked out for him in the West Midlands this season.

It looks pretty safe to assume that he'll be on the way in the summer but there should be plenty of sides in need of what he can bring.

It might end up being a league below though.

David Stockdale's arrival last summer has left the Polish stopper struggling for minutes and that has surely been the cause of some frustration for him.

He might be getting old but he still has some years left in his career and if he is not assured of more minutes next season he is surely going to be on the way.
