These 3 are the worst Blackburn Rovers strikers of the last 10 years – Agreed?

It’s hard to associate Blackburn Rovers of now to the one that won the Premier League back in the 1994-95 season.

In 22nd place in the second division ahead of the international break, their squad looks depleted following the high profile departures of Rudy Gestede, Jordan Rhodes, Grant Hanley and Shane Duffy in the last few years.

They’ve let their star players go and not replaced them.

The man tasked with bringing them out of all this is Owen Coyle, who many Rovers fans think shouldn’t have been appointed.

Ten years ago, Blackburn were a solid, mid-table Premier League club, perhaps even with ambitions of pushing into Europe.

Disaster struck and they slipped down the league until the 2011-12 season, when they dropped out of the top flight all together.

17th, 8th, 9th and 15th place positions in the second tier have followed, but anywhere outside of the bottom three come May will be a success for Coyle and his men.

Here, FLW’s Ryan Evans takes a look at the THREE worst Blackburn strikers over the last ten years…..
