It's been a tough couple of months for Wolves but after a strong 2-1 away victory against QPR last Thursday night, things could be about to change.

After letting Walter Zenga go a couple of months into the current campaign, it's been a long old slog for the Midlanders, who have really struggled to find consistent form.

But the win away at Loftus Road went some way in securing some belief at Molineux and right now, Wolves sit 20th in the table on 21 points.

With a long few weeks ahead and a busy Christmas schedule fast approaching, there is thought amongst the Wolves faithful that new manager Paul Lambert really needs to utilise the whole of his squad going forward.

But it seems the former Villa man already has his favourites and for certain youngsters in the team, that means it's going to be tough to get game time.

And we think there are a couple of youngsters on the books that just aren't going to make it.

So with that in mind, here's 2 Wolves wonderkids who could be destined to flop...

Niall Ennis

It's always tough on bright prospects when long term injuries come into the equation and sadly for young Wolves star Niall Ennis, a long spell on the sidelines has come at an unfortunate time.

The highly-rated 17-year-old is set to miss at least four months after sustaining a serious training ground injury which has really thrown his first team chances into doubt.

Hopefully his first team opportunities aren't effected in the future but at the rate players come through the academies these days, he might struggle to keep pace with others in his age group.

Cameron John

Just like rising star Dominic Iorfa, Cameron John joined the club from Southend United.

But with Iorfa's meteoric rise to the first team comes the inevitability that some players are left behind somewhat and that can very much be said for young John.

Iorfa's progress into the first team shows just how good you need to be these days to get through and unfortunately for John, the competition is such that he might struggle to really break through.
