QPR's decent form of late has come to an end after back-to-back defeats, with the most recent coming with a 1-0 loss against Aston Villa.

In a game the R's probably deserved something from, QPR have now lost to both Derby County and Aston Villa 1-0 and its providing some much-needed food for thought for manager Ian Holloway, who will be keen to get things back on track sooner rather than later.

But barring these two recent defeats, the Hoops have been in fine form recently and much of that can be put down to Holloway's appointment at the helm of Loftus Road.

But on the paddocks, there's thought amongst some supporters that some of the best performing U23's should be given a chance in the first-team with their Championship status all-but secured and little else left to play for.

So with that in mind, here's 2 of the best QPR wonderkids who we think need to be fast-tracked nearer to the first-team, do you agree?

Alex Finney

Arguably the most senior player in the QPR U23's side is former Bolton Wanderers defender Alex Finney, who has been tipped for a fantastic career ahead by the Hoops academy bosses.

The 20-year-old centre-back has been tipped as a future replacement for defender and captain Nedum Onuoha, who many fans are keen to see leave this summer.

Whilst he's relatively unproven at this level, why not take a risk on a youngster every now and then?

Ilias Chair

Former Lierse academy product Ilias Chair is another QPR youngster who has been tipped to shine in the first-team in years to come and after some superb performances for the QPR U23's this season, we might be seeing him sooner rather than later.

A creative midfielder who is known for his flair and ability to move the ball with relative ease, he's Morrocan-born and at times has drawn comparisons to former QPR favourite Adel Tarrabt.

But he's got quite a bit of work to do before he does get his chance under Holloway but at this rate, he's certainly a player that deserves to be fast-tracked nearer to the first-team.
