QPR are on the road to revival under Ian Holloway and after a solid January transfer window, there's optimism down at Loftus Road for perhaps the first time this season.

The Hoops had been plagued by bad form and off-the-field distractions under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's time at the club and supporters will be glad to have some consistency at the helm as the season rolls forward.

In came Luke Freeman, Matt Smith and Ravel Morrison- all respected players at this level who will help breathe much-needed life into a QPR squad that at times this campaign, has been stale.

And whilst there are exciting times ahead for the Hoops, you certainly get the feeling that not all is well down in West London and there are a couple of individuals who are quite simply struggling in the first-team.

So, with that in mind, here's 2 QPR players who are seriously out of their depth at the club...

Michael Petrasso

Michael Petrasso remains on the fringes of the QPR squad and with Ian Holloway now at the helm at Loftus Road, you get the impression it's going to be tough for the Canadian international to really break through into the first-team.

Luke Freeman came in as another wide option for the second-half of the season and we just can't see a man who has made just a few fleeting appearances in the lower divisions in England leading QPR back into the Premier League.

On this occasion, the league is just a little too big for Petrasso.

Conor Washington

Conor Washington arrived at QPR with a real reputation when he signed for £2.5million last January but so far, he's another forward player who quite simply, hasn't delivered enough at this level.

Managerial change won't have helped his development in the slightest but for a player that so well revered at Peterborough, you might have expected more from the Northern Ireland international.

That's not to question his work-rate, stamina or attitude, all of which have been fantastic throughout his tenure at Loftus Road but quite simply, he might be a striker who at this level, is out of his depth.
