It's been a torrid season for supporters of Queens Park Rangers, but with safety more or less guaranteed it's time for manager Ian Holloway to turn his head towards the summer.

The West London outfit are likely to have another field day when it comes to departures, just like they did in January when a number of "deadwood" players exited Loftus Road.

QPR's form may have decided the future of several first team members, having narrowly fallen to defeat in each of their previous five outings, something Holloway will want to address before the campaign's end.

Paying attention to potential incomings, the boss may feel it's either one of these two problems; the side are lacking consistent, reliable goal scorers or the defence's continuous leaking of goals is a sign of weakness.

Either way, Ian Holloway can solve those issues by bringing in acquisitions in the summer and focus on two particular footballers.

Here are 2 players the manager needs to add to his transfer wish list in the upcoming window.

Lee Gregory

Queens Park Rangers have regularly dipped into the division below to search for talent, like with forward Conor Washington, who arrived sixteen months ago from Peterborough United.

Lee Gregory has proven his worth and will undoubtedly be plying his trade in the Championship next season, it's just the question as to which club he'll be at - if Millwall gain promotion via the play-offs then it's likely the 28-year-old will remain in south-east London.

Ian Holloway's squad has definitely come up short in the goals department this campaign but a top-half finish next year would be on the horizon if Gregory was in their ranks.

I am certain the League One forward should be on the manager's radar in the summer transfer window.

Jack Hobbs

Ian Holloway will undoubtedly look to clear out a number of defender this season.

Conceding goals has been the problem at QPR this season but Nottingham Forest's Jack Hobbs could be the solution if they aim high next year.

The 28-year-old has one-year remaining on his contract at the City Ground so Rangers could probably get the defender on the cheap side, and he formed one of the division's formidable back lines in recent history at Hull.

He guarantees clean sheets, so at the very least should be on Holloway's wish list in the summer.

QPR fans, would you have these two on your wishlist? If not, who should be? Are these realistic acquirements? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
