Wolves are one of a handful of sides who still have work to do in order to preserve their Championship status come the end of the season, with Paul Lambert not having found it easy since taking charge in the Midlands.

Wolves have found it increasingly difficult to pick up points in-front of their home supporters, with the 2-1 defeat to hapless Birmingham arguably being the low point of what has been a very disappointing season indeed in the Black Country.

But the 3-1 win over Fulham last weekend did massive things when it comes to helping them edge that little bit further away from the drop zone, but with teams around them also picking up points in recent weeks, the pressure is on Wolves to continue their improvement going forward.

But since the former Villa manager has taken over, a handful of players seem to have gone backwards rather than forwards and it's been a real shame to watch the side freefall.

So with that in mind, here's the TWO Wolves stars that have regressed most under Paul Lambert since he took over at the club...

Prince Oniangue

There was plenty of optimism flowing around Molineux when French midfielder Prince Oniangue was signed for the club this summer.

An all-purpose midfielder, he was supposed to be the man to come in and really take ahold of the midfield.

But under Paul Lambert, it was clear he wasn't going to get enough game-time and he was quickly shipped back out to Ligue 1, with a return to the first-team looking unlikely in the future.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson

Jon Dadi Bodvarrson can't buy time on the pitch for love nor money at the moment and his goalscoring record this season has been absolutely wretched.

Having scored a couple at the start of the season, he's failed to hit the back of the net since those early days in the season and looks set to be moved on this summer if he doesn't start scoring quickly.

But with Andreas Weimann slowly beginning to find some goalscoring form, the chance of seeing the Icelandic international is becoming slimmer by the week.
