Cardiff City supporters will be feeling satisfactory with their season so far after enduring a difficult beginning to the campaign, which has been revived by Neil Warnock who is more or less the club's saviour.

The Bluebirds could have been heading for League One football next term if they didn't get rid of Paul Trollope back in October, but at least now there seems to be stability in the Welsh capital and things look the complete opposite to bleak, which is what the mood was this time six months ago.

Warnock as a knack at working his magic and it has worked for Cardiff, but the question is has it all been positive since the experienced boss arrived?

Every manager has their different styles of play and what players suit that which can mean some members of the first-team don't get the same opportunity - this has unfortunately occurred within the camp.

Here are TWO players who have seriously regressed under Neil Warnock at Cardiff City....

Anthony Pilkington

Anthony Pilkington was one of the star men in the squad at Cardiff City and has been since his decided to switch East Anglia at Norwich City for the south of Wales, which he did in the summer of 2014.

The winger has bagged seven goals for the Bluebirds in his 26 Championship appearances this season, but it is the number of assists he has made which is worrying, zero.

The 28 year-old Republic of Ireland international has always been a fan favourite in Cardiff but it seems Warnock's system at the club doesn't best suit Pilkington, and that has caused him to go backwards in his career.

Joe Bennett

Having arrived at the Cardiff City Stadium last summer from Aston Villa, who opted to let him go following their drop to the second-tier, Joe Bennett hasn't exactly made the left-back position his own.

Fair enough the defender suffered a calf injury and had to wait until October before making his debut for the club, but I feel he was much better before joining the Championship outfit and it may be that the manager Neil Warnock doesn't prefer Bennett.

The 26 year-old has earned just two clean sheets in his 17 games in all competitions for the Bluebirds, showing he isn't that comfortable under Warnock and his system.

The ex-England under-21 international might have to look for a move in the summer with his contract not expiring for another two years, and the boss is likely to strengthen the team in every area during the transfer window.

Cardiff City supporters, do you agree or disagree? Have these two dropped in quality since the appointment of Warnock? Has anyone else done so? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
