He has not signed a new deal with the club so talented left-back Charlie Taylor could potentially exit the club in the summer with a number of Premier League clubs still monitoring his progress.

Taylor has struggled with an achilles injury in recent months but looks set to make a full return to help Garry Monk's side in their promotion push.

Just nine games remain in the Sky Bet Championship and both Monk and Taylor are yet to sign new deals, with the latter less expected to commit his future at Elland Road.

Premier League side West Brom have been interested in the 23-year-old defender for quite some time and could be tempted to make a move for the youngster, who is out of contract in the summer and available for a mere compensation fee.

Leeds will not want to lose any other key players in the summer and will want to continue building for the next season, either in the Premier League or still in the Championship, though a few players could still exit the club.

Football League World writer Harry Webster takes a look at two players who could potentially follow Charlie Taylor out of Leeds this summer...

Marcus Antonsson

The Swedish forward was Leeds' first signing last summer but he has failed to make an impact with the Whites all season.

The form of Chris Wood has meant that Antonsson has not had many opportunities to showcase his abilities this season and a move away from Elland Road could be on the cards.

There is no doubt that the 25-year-old can score goals after scoring 22 goals in 40 matches at his former club, but he has failed to replicate that form in England.

Luke Murphy

The central midfielder is currently on loan at Burton Albion and with Garry Monk having so much talent in the midfield department you sense that he could permanently leave Leeds in the summer.

Murphy has been a good servant at the club but with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Eunan O'Kane, Liam Bridcutt and Ronaldo Vieira all performing so well this season it could be hard for Murphy to make a claim for a place in the squad.

The 27-year-old has done well for Burton since his move to the Pirelli Stadium in January and Nigel Clough may be tempted to make a move for him again in the summer.
