Things are looking good for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Sky Bet Championship in early 2018, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side well placed to push on this season and secure a return to the Premier League.

Results over the course of the festive period left Wolves 12 points clear at the top of the Championship table, with Nuno’s side well clear of the almighty battle shaping up for the second automatic promotion place.

Of course, Wolves are looking to strengthen this month, with Nuno looking to add players to his squad who can help secure promotion, whilst also have the ability to take the step into the top-flight with Wolves, with promotion looking likely in May.

AFC Bournemouth’s Lewis Grabban is one player reportedly on their radar, and here at FLW, we look at TWO other players who could potentially follow the 12-goal striker to Molineux this month…

Jack Colback

Wolves were close to signing Colback during the summer transfer window, and Nuno could reignite his interest in the Newcastle United midfielder, who is heading for the St James’ Park exit door.

Colback has a wealth of experience and has proved his class in both the Championship and Premier League previously.

The 28-year-old would add bodies to central midfield, and whilst he wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter at Molineux, he would improve Nuno’s squad.

Robbie Keane

Keane has been sensationally linked with a return to Molineux this month, with the experienced striker on Nuno’s radar due to the experience he could bring.

The 37-year-old started his career at Molineux, and has enjoyed a successful career since then, playing for a host of British clubs, Inter Milan and LA Galaxy.

Keane probably wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter if he returned, but on a short-term deal, the Irishman’s return would add another strong option to Nuno’s hand.
