Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Beram Kayal has recently been linked with a move to Steve Bruce's Aston Villa in January.

The 28-year old has been instrumental for Chris Hughton's men this term, and his string of excellent performances has led to the Seagulls sitting 2nd in the Championship table after 10 wins, 4 draws, and 2 defeats from 16 games.

The Israeli has made 70 appearances for Albion, netting 3 times, and the AMEX faithful will surely be hoping that January goes extremely quick as far as they're concerned.

Of course, Kayal won't be the only player subject to interest from many high profile outfits this year - it's only natural for a team that have won 8 out of the last 10 league games.

So here, FLW writer George Harbey identifies TWO players that could be departing Brighton and Hove Albion in January, and following Beram Kayal out of the exit door...

Anthony Knockaert

The Frenchman has once again displayed the astonishing form he lit up the division with last term.

The 24-year-old was subject to serious interest from the likes of high-flying Newcastle and Aston Villa in the summer, however Hughton resisted temptation to sell the talisman.

There will be a huge price tag on the former Leicester man in January but that won't stop a number of teams looking to pursue the signature of the tricky winger who has scored 11 goals in 34 games for the Albion.

Elvis Manu

Another player who could be departing the AMEX Stadium is Elvis Manu but for all the wrong reasons.

The Dutchman has not managed to cut it at Brighton, failing to start a single game for Chris Hughton's side despite making 10 appearances for the club.

After an unimpressive loan spell at Huddersfield last term, the 23-year-old has really fallen down the pecking order for strikers and is now behind Glenn Murray, Sam Baldock and Tomer Hemed.

So...what do you think Brighton fans? Will these two players be leaving Brighton this year? Should Elvis Manu be given a chance at the club? Leave your thoughts and suggestions in the comments below!
