Nottingham Forest are fighting well against relegation after what has been a bit of a nightmare season in the Championship this time round.

The two time European champions recorded an impressive win over promotion chasing Huddersfield at the weekend, and fans at the City Ground will be confident they can survive under Mark Warburton.

One thing Forest have always maintained though is their eye for producing exciting young talent, and this has been no different over recent seasons, with the likes of Ollie Burke and more recently Ben Brereton impressing for the Reds.

The club though are not done with young talent though, and there are a few more on the books who could well be ready for first team action in the not too distant future.

With this in mind, we take a look at TWO Nottingham Forest wonderkids who need to be pushed to the first team soon...

Jordan Gabriel

18-year-old full back Gabriel has already been touted as a long term prospect at the back for Forest, and his prospects for the future look excellent based on his performances this season in the under-23's.

An injury at the weekend might curtail his progress this season, but Gabriel is certainly someone Forest fans are aware of, and if they aren't, there is a big chance they will be come next season.

Toby Edser

The teenager is one of the most exciting prospects at the City Ground in recent years, and he has already been in and around the first team picture for Forest.

His impressive displays in the under-23's have led to the first team staff taking notice, and it will surely not be long before we are seeing Edser commanding a regular place in the first team squad.
