It has been another interesting campaign on the banks of the River Trent at Nottingham Forest and after seeing the back of another manager things now finally look to have settled down under the stewardship of Aitor Karanka.
Mark Warburton was replaced by the Spaniard back in January and after a few teething problems to start with the Reds are now on an unbeaten run of five games going into this weekend’s East Midlands derby.
Ex-Middlesbrough boss Karanka was in no mood for messing around when it came to shaping his squad, quickly signing eleven new players to replace seven members of the first-team who he offloaded from the club.
The Forest boss means business it would seem and given his attitude in the January transfer window, it looks likely to be an exciting summer for the club’s supporters with Karanka likely to continue his squad alterations.
