Brighton will be hoping to bounce back from defeat against Newcastle United last time out, and at the time of writing were preparing for an away trip Nottingham Forest.

The Seagulls have been impressive in the main this term, and manager Chris Hughton should take huge credit from what he has achieved so far.

Following on from last seasons heartbreaking playoff loss to Sheffield Wednesday, the club have done superbly to bounce back and put themselves firmly in contention for automatic promotion once more.

There are no doubt going to be some ups and downs between now and the end of the season, and Hughton will know he will need to have his squad on their toes and ready for each fixture which comes their way.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at the TWO Brighton games which could make or break their season...

Home vs Derby County

Arguably their toughest homes fixture remaining, the Seagulls will be looking to get one over on what has been a failing Rams side this term.

A win over Steve McClaren's men would be a huge boost for the club, and should set them on their way even closer towards promotion.

Away at Leeds United

In a potentially huge game, Brighton take on Leeds at Elland Road the week after facing Derby at home.

By the time this fixture rolls around, Leeds may well have closed the gap on the Seagulls in the top two, meaning  the game could have even more hanging on it come the end of the 90 minutes.
