Leeds United are having one of their best seasons in recent memory and they currently sit 4th in the Sky Bet Championship with 12 games remaining.

Under the guidance of Garry Monk, Leeds have recovered from a slow start to be seriously competing for promotion.

With nine points separating them from second placed Newcastle United, it looks like the play-offs will be Leeds' most likely avenue of promotion this season but you cannot rule out a late surge from the Whites.

Garry Monk has revolutionised this Leeds side, who have struggled a lot since getting relegated from the Premier League in 2003/04 and there is a real belief that this group of players could guide them back to the top flight.

With a solid back line including loan stars Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley and a prolific striker in Chris Wood, Leeds are equipped for a promotion challenge.

But here are 2 players who need to jump ship in the summer because life at Leeds is not working out for them.

Ross Turnbull

Ross Turnbull has dropped down the pecking order at Leeds this season and appears to be fourth choice goalkeeper.

The experienced former Middlesbrough and Chelsea man is behind Rob Green, Marco Silvestri and Bailey Peacock-Farrell in Monk's books.

At this stage of his career, Turnbull needs to drop down to League One or League Two and get regular game time.

Giuseppe Bellusci

Giuseppe Bellusci was one of a number of Italian imports brought in during Massimo Cellino's reign as Leeds owner and he is the figurehead for this disastrous period.

The hot-headed centre half is despised by the Leeds fans and needs to leave for his own sake.

Currently out on loan at Empoli, Bellusci will be hoping to earn a permanent move back to Italy.
