Sheffield Wednesday continue to make a push for promotion this season, and beat Wigan last night to secure another vital three points in the race for the top six.

The Owls have invested heavily over the last two years, with plenty of money being splurged by their new owner, and manager Carlos Carvalhal getting his team to play some excellent football.

The recent January window has just passed, and Wednesday made an excellent late signing in Jordan Rhodes, who should help fire the goals in to seal the deal when it comes to a play-off finish.

However, with the window closed, the chance to sign new players is limited, with only free agents available. There are though some excellent players on the free agency list at the minute, and the Owls could well swoop for someone if they need.

With this in mind, FLW writer Lee Connor takes a look at TWO free agents who Sheffield Wednesday could look to sign...

Dwight Tiendalli

Former Swansea full back Tiendalli is out of contract and would still be a useful addition at Championship level.

He has top flight experience, and the Owls have struggled at full back this season with Jack Hunt and Daniel Pudil inconsistent in their performances.

Tiendalli could add some much needed experience class to the Owls back line.

Charles N'Zogbia

Out of contract and out of favour during his last spell with Aston Villa, the flying winger is still only 30-years-old and could do a good job in the Championship.

The Owls have Adam Reach and Ross Wallace out wide at the moment, but there is always room for back up, and N'Zogbia could provide this.

On his day he can be unplayable, and under the right manager, he could get back on track and enjoy a few more seasons in football.
