Following a difficult start to the season, Aston Villa have entered an exceptional run of form, climbing up the Championship table to emerge as clear promotion contenders.

Steve Bruce is looking to guide his side back to the Premier League following their relegation from the top-flight in 2016, and on current form Villa have to be considered favourites behind leaders, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Bruce has been rocked by injuries in recent weeks, with John Terry and Jonathan Kodjia ruled out for extended spells, and could look to the January transfer window to bolster his squad ahead of a final push for the top-two.
