Derby County take on East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest on Sunday with the Rams in desperate need of all three points if they are to get their season back on track.

A run of no wins in five Sky Bet Championship fixtures has threatened to throw a spanner in the works of the Rams' march towards the Premier League and boss Gary Rowett will be mightily keen to get back on track this weekend.

Rowett's squad is the envy of most managers in the Championship and anything less than a top six finish for Derby must be seen as a failure given the quality he has at his disposal.

Derby typically have a high turnover of players and with the ultimate aim of reaching the top flight evident it seems obvious that the Rams will be busy in the transfer market once again during the summer.

FLW writer Lee Clarke looks at two players who could leave the Rams in order to make way for new potential new signings at the end of the current campaign...

The Swedish left-back has fallen down the pecking order under the management of Gary Rowett and this could be his last season at Pride Park.

Some sporadic form from the 29-year-old has seen him play second fiddle at times this season, featuring in a disappointing 12 games during the campaign so far.

Rowett could opt to sign a new left-back ahead of next season and that could mean a Pride Park departure for Olsson.

It might sound strange to even suggest that Derby would be willing to let a prolific striker like Nugent leave Pride Park, but it is safe to say that the talisman isn't getting any younger.

The ex-Leicester City man has a contract in the East Midlands until 2019 and at 32-years-old it doesn't seem completely out of the question that the Rams might cash in on the player while he maintains some of his value.

The Championship veteran has netted on six occasions this season which is reasonably poor for a player of his quality and Rowett could look to splash the cash on a partner for Matej Vydra next season.

Derby County fans, do you agree that these two could leave the club in the summer? Let us know in the comments below!!!
