Now that the Bluebirds have been confirmed that Championship football will be played in the Welsh capital next season, it's time for the club to turn their focus onto summer dealings.

The proficient, experienced man that is Neil Warnock has a second opportunity to astronomically overhaul the playing squad in the transfer window and it is likely to be a hectic one for 68 year-old.

You can envisage an abundance of the first-team calling it quits and deciding to depart the Cardiff City Stadium.

One of the reasons will be to get systemically get more minutes on the pitch, it's happened quite a lot at this specific team.

For instance, out-of-favour goalkeeper Simon Moore struggled to break the first-choice barrier and subsequently signed for League One promotion hopefuls, at the time, Sheffield United - dropping a division to prove his worth and ability.

It's happened on a regular occurrence at Cardiff City and it's likely to become a pattern which is followed this summer, as these TWO Cardiff players need to downgrade and move down a league.....

Stuart O'Keefe

Having endured a frustrating period at the club, Stuart O'Keefe was given the opportunity to sign for MK Dons in January and so he did - being an influential member of the first-team in their rise up the League One table.

The 26 year-old only made eight appearances for the Bluebirds this season under Warnock prior to his switch to the division below, which has been a breathe of fresh air for the midfielder.

Valued at £638,000, O'Keefe would definitely become comfortable at a top-half team in the third-tier and I'm sure he would prefer it if the potential suitor challenged for promotion back to the Championship.

After all, the sought-after man won't be short of a new employer come the summer transfer window.

Emyr Huws

Since making his debut for Northampton Town five years ago, the ex-Manchester City trainee has enjoyed time at seven different clubs across all four divisions of the English football pyramid.

Emyr Huws, whom has ten appearances for the Wales national team, was expected to finally settle down at Cardiff City after putting pen-to-paper last summer but it didn't plan out that way and was shipped out on loan in January.

The 23-year-old was labelled as a possible long-term midfielder at the Bluebirds; however, he now needs to deliver at his age and perhaps the best possible way of progressing is to rewind  - take a step into League One.

This way Huws may galvanise spectators and scouts to earn his place in the Championship rather than being a fringe player.

Cardiff City supporters, do you agree? Is it best for these two to drop down a division? Is there anyone else at the club who would benefit from such a move? Tell us your opinions in the comments below!
