When Bolton Wanderers were relegated from the Championship last season, many of the supporters would have feared for their club, considering the amount of problems that occurred.
However, they are riding well in League One as they sit in 3rd place – level on 34 points with Sheffield United, who occupy 2nd.
The club’s financial worries from last term seem to have been kept in the dark this year and they have done extremely well to keep some of their better players, also having managed to scoop a reputable boss in Phil Parkinson to take the reigns.
With the club performing well and certain players exceeding in League One, they are expected to be noticed by Championship sides and possibly some top-flight outfits.
The Trotters have a talented squad for a League One outfit, and if a club does come knocking for any of their highly regarded players, then Parkinson should not stand in anyone’s way to leave the Macron to further their career.

Zach Clough
After Bolton were relegated last season, there were many teams in the market to snap up Clough, who has been regarded as one of England’s next top prospects.
Fulham, Burnley and Middlesbrough were among several other clubs who were thought to be keeping an eye out on the forward.
He has proved what an asset he can be after winning the PFA fans’ player of the month for October and has netted five goals in total for Bolton this season.
Clough is still a youngster at 21-years old and he needs a challenge in his career to show that he can compete at the top-level.
Josh Vela
Vela is a crucial part of Bolton’s side and scored a tremendous goal in last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Millwall.
Vela has shown that he has an abundance amount of potential during his time with Bolton, and also a youngster at 22-years of age, he has plenty of time to improve his game.
However, we feel that Bolton is not the side for him to progress in his career and if a club comes in for him in the summer, he should be allowed to leave.
