Former Scotland and Birmingham midfielder Paul Devlin took to his social media last night to share his frustrations around the performances of Jonathan Leko.

The former West Bromwich Albion player came on as a second half substitute in the Blues' 0-0 draw away at high flying Brentford.

Leko is yet to score for Birmingham since joining the club in the summer from Charlton Athletic where he impressed in a short spell with the club. The forward scored five goals last season and was a regular starter for the side.

However, since making his move to Birmingham the 21-year-old has flattered to deceive and Devlin took to Twitter to voice his opinions on the new arrival.

Devlin said: "Leko got to do better and do more! #BCFC".

The former Blues midfielder's tweet drew the attention of Birmingham fan's who also shared their opinion on the youngster's troubles.

Leko has played a part in all of Birmingham's last six games, only one of them being a start, and has made little impact in any of them.

The forward is coming back from a long-term ACL injury which kept him out of action for 10 months. He only made his return to action in October in the side's 1-0 defeat to struggling Sheffield Wednesday.

Birmingham fan's will be hoping to see a return to form for the youngster under new manager Bowyer who he worked with at Charlton.

Some fans are optimistic about his future with the club whilst others let their disappointment be known as they reacted on Twitter.
