Birmingham City striker Che Adams added another brace to his tally at the weekend in the 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers, a result that leaves the Blues in eighth place in the table, six points off the play-off places.

Adams has now scored 21 for the season and has a host of clubs clamouring for his signature including Liverpool, Spurs, Burnley and Southampton as reported in the Birmingham Mail.

So does Adams have the potential to emulate the success of Dele Alli in the Premier League?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes.

“I like Adams, he’s got something in his play, an air of ‘not caring’ that sets him apart.

“He’s talent, but surely his emulation would be Jamie Vardy, wouldn’t it?

“Former non-league striker done good?”

Jacob Potter

"He certainly has a chance.

"Adams has the quality to be playing in the Premier League, and I’m surprised that a top flight side didn’t take a punt on him in January.

"If he’s given regular game time, then I could definitely see him emulating the success of Dele Alli."

George Harbey

"I think he’d fit seamlessly into a top Premier League side.

"You can tell that he has the traits to become a top player - he is strong, quick and powerful and has a real eye for goal.

"He’d be a top signing for someone like Spurs."

Jay Taylor

“There’s no reason as to why he can’t do it.

“Adams is 22, scoring for fun and has the ability to improve no end.

“Alli was the same and has gone on to be a star.

“If the Birmingham striker is not in the same position in three years or so I will be very surprised.”
