Yoann Barbet is proving to be a worthwhile signing by Mark Warburton for Queens Park Rangers this season.

The pair were briefly at Brentford together and now, they're on the blue and white side of West London together. Barbet started the season relatively subdued - fans could see his potential but he was still settling in with his new teammates.

Barbet then became injured. He would be sidelined for the best part of three months with a hamstring injury, and it looked as though his time at QPR was set to spiral.

But to the surprise of many, Barbet returned and got right back into the midst of the action, proving to be arguably the club's best defender since doing so.

He could be a big player for QPR next season as well - Grant Hall is out-of-contract, leaving only Barbet and Conor Masterson as the two recognised centre-backs.
