Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has already had is philosophy of operating with a small stream-lined squad well and truly tested, following a series of injuries and suspensions for  a number of key personnel.

Despite this young midfielder Jordan Stevens is yet to feature for the senior team in the league having made his debut in a pre-season friendly under Bielsa in the summer.

Therefore it begs the question does 18-year-old Stevens have a future at Leeds?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

I think it is too early to tell.

Jordan Stevens is still only 18-years-old and is new to the club after a summer move to Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa is not shy to reward youth and having not featured under the Argentinian yet, it may be a little too soon for the youngster.

It remains to be seen if he is in Bielsa’s plans but rest assured, if the head coach thinks he has talent, he will play.

And if he plays, you would suspect he will have a bright future at the club having been given an endorsement by a world-renowned coach.

Gary Hutchinson

Asking if an 18-year old has a future is madness.

Who knows how he’ll develop?

I can see him going out on loan and then we’ll see what happens after that.

George Dagless

There's a chance for sure.

He's still young and anything can happen with a player at that age.

He might not have got near the first-team as yet but then you wouldn't expect him to unless he was exceptional and he is impressing at u23 level.

In time he's got a chance to challenge and I think Leeds will be keeping him.
