It's been a mixed bag for both Derby County and Preston North End, who square up against each other this weekend at Pride Park.

But will it be Frank Lampard or Alex Neil who will be the happier come the final whistle?

The tests keep coming for Lampard.

The win over Ipswich will have done him and his side good but Preston are a better team than the Tractor Boys.

That said, I think this one ends 1-1.

Frank Lampard’s side got a much-needed win during the week, but I’m still not completely convinced by what’s going on there.

Preston are always a tough team to face and they won’t make things easy this weekend.

There will be goals at Pride Park – 2-2.

Jay Williams

Neither side has had the start they wanted, especially after both edged to opening day wins.

Derby were not amazing against Ipswich Town in midweek but still picked up a relatively comfortable 2-0 win.

With Tom Lawrence in goal scoring form, he could be the difference in a tight match.

Preston are a difficult side to beat but after conceding two late goals at Norwich in midweek, they might be down on confidence.

A dour draw! Derby haven’t impressed me so far and Alex Neill’s side have looked solid but unspectacular.

I’ve got a feeling this won’t be one for the cameras, a game of few chances and even fewer thrills and spills.
