Queens Park Rangers have announced the departure of pacy winger Yeni Ngbakoto on their official website, as the 25-year-old returned to France to join Guingamp.

The fee is undisclosed as the wideman, who made his debut for DR Congo in March 2017, leaves the club he joined in August 2016.

He made the dream start to his Loftus Road career, scoring against Swindon Town in the first round of the League Cup and netted QPR's Goal of the Season for 2016-17 with a stunning free-kick against Birmingham City in February.

However, this season has not gone as smoothly for the winger, who has made just eight appearances in all competitions this season, with his most recent outing coming against Derby County in a 2-0 defeat in November.

Queens Park Rangers fans reacted to the news bemoaning the fact that he was not given that much of a chance in the first team, although they were happy to trim the wage bill.
