Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has created a squad with a real chance of gaining promotion to the Premier League, with the Whites able to go back to the top of the table with a win at Reading tonight.

Bielsa has a high opinion of his current charges, believing that they would be capable of making the team at Marseille and Athletic Bilbao where he managed earlier in his career, as reported in the YEP.

So who then from the current Leeds squad, would be good enough for Marseille or Athletic Bilbao?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"Jack Clarke, Pontus Jansson and Kiko Casilla.

"Those players have real quality and are Leeds’ best players in my opinion.

"There are more that could be playing at that level, but the trio are head and shoulders above the rest."

Louie Chandler

"There are plenty of candidates.

"I would list Kalvin Phillips, Pontus Jansson and Pablo Hernandez as the obvious candidates.

"All three have been playing to top-half Premier League standards so would have a great chance in the Spanish and French side."

Gary Hutchinson

“That’s an interesting question.

“Bamford almost certainly, he’s a top quality striker.

“Pablo Hernandez too, tricky customer with lots of experience.

“Casilla maybe too. Even Jansson would be in with a shout.”

Jay Taylor

“I think you would see the likes of Pablo Hernandez and the centre-back pairing in those teams.

“Not to mention Kiko Casilla, too.

“Leeds have several stars this season, but it would be those who get in, along with Kemar Roofe and maybe Jack Clarke too.

“It could literally be any of the squad Bielsa is referring to.”
