The starting XI is expected to be unchanged from Oxford's last league game against Gillingham. There could well be features for new signings, but it's unlikely that Robinson will change the fore of the side that earned a point at Priestfield Stadium.

Rob Dickie is expected to start at centre-half whilst John Mousinho will partner him as they look to keep out a Premier League attack which is likely to contain multi-million pound stars such as Miguel Almiron and Joelinton.

The midfield is what is likely to decide the game and the U's will need players such as Shandon Baptiste to be on the top of their game and try and dictate the flow in Oxford's favour.

The front three have to be clinical in the match and they'll be a lot of responsibility of the shoulders of Tariqe Fosu who has been an exciting winger this season for the U's. He has a great ability for the level that he's currently playing at and will hope to be the provider for Jamie Mackie.

Liam Kelly is on the bench having signed from Feyenoord and he could be pushing for a start having played sides such as Manchester United earlier on in his career at Reading.

It's set to be a thrilling cup tie, and Oxford will be backed by over 3000 supporters who have made the long-trip up St.James' Park.
